WHATS ON THE “BOOB TUBE?”
Here is a 8×10 photo that features passengers watching coin-operated TV sets at an LA Greyhound bus terminal located at LA St. and 6th, in 1969. Probably 25 cents for every 15 minutes! Also, take note of those space age chairs, ashtrays, phone booths, and terrazzo floors. And look how everyone is dressed. Right at the tail end of the men’s hat & suit era. Nevertheless, we need television to pass the time while waiting for a bus!
